How to read it

This is a real page of music, but every mark stands for a check reading. Each gate has its own line or space and its own place in the bar, so the same figure always means the same gates.

  1. Whole note

    The gate ran 100 checks or more in one deploy.

  2. Half note

    From 20 to 99 checks.

  3. Quarter note

    From 5 to 19 checks.

  4. Eighth note

    Fewer than 5 checks. Neighbouring eighths share a beam, as in ordinary music.

What is true on this page

Real

Every note comes from a snapshot of the log as of 4 November 2026: 160 entries, 55 projects, 14 working days, commit 5317d9b. The build counts the numbers; none were typed in by hand.

Invented

The mapping from number to note was invented for this page. A note's length shows how many checks ran, not rhythm. The music is a way to show numbers, not a measure of quality.

How it sounds

The sound is born in the browser. There are no files and no recording is kept. Three voices run together: nine beats against eight against six. The project's family sets the root note, its speed score sets the brightness.

What is not here

People, testimonials, promises or clients. Names in the bars are internal project names from the log; a few draft projects are shown in general terms.

Level check: the whole log was synthesised with no speakers, 201 s, peak -5.2 dBFS, clipped samples 0. This check does not judge the composition by ear.
